Accidents in railway transport occur regularly and are associated with many reasons, which are not always possible to foresee.
NSK JSC offers reliable protection of the interests of railway transport owners.
Insurance protection is provided for compensation of damage, caused to insured railway transport and arising from one of the following risks
- random external impact;
- fire or spontaneous combustion (with the exception of damage, caused as a result of short circuit of electrical equipment elements);
- transport accident, which means an event, that arose during the movement of railway transport and from it involving, in which people were killed or injured, other vehicles were damaged, structures, cargo, or other material damage was caused;
- theft or hijacking of railway transport;
- natural disaster;
- illegal actions of third parties (except for theft or theft).
Theft is understood as the unlawful gratuitous seizure and/or circulation of railway transport committed for personal gain and/or circulation of railway transport by the guilty party for one’s own benefit or for the benefit of other persons for the purposes of personal gain or other selfish purposes, causing damage to its owner or another to the owner. Theft is understood as the unlawful taking of insured railway transport without the purpose of theft.
