Vehicle Wear Calculator
Explanation
The physical wear of components requiring replacement (parts, assemblies, and units) of a vehicle manufactured abroad or in CIS countries is calculated using the following formula:

where:
- e — base of natural logarithms
- Ω — computed as: Ω = −(a×D + b×P)
- D — service life (current year − year of manufacture)
- P — mileage (entered mileage / 1000 km)
- a, b — empirical coefficients from the table below:
Note
When determining the cost of restoration repair of a vehicle that is in satisfactory external condition and meets operating characteristics corresponding to safety requirements and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on road traffic, but has a calculated wear percentage exceeding 75 percent, the percentage is reduced to 75 percent.
